Hello and Welcome!

I am Charisa, a planner and designer who is obsessed with every little inspired detail, a type A personality with a crazy love for lists and spreadsheets. Love, laughter, and fabulously designed weddings make my world go round!


I attended Kennesaw State University to fulfill my life-long dream of becoming a nurse, but it wasn’t until I began planning my own wedding that I discovered my true passion of wedding and event planning. This coupled with my creative spirit led to the creation of Southern Veils.


At Southern Veils we believe that each event should be unique and directly inspired by you and your fiancé. Your wedding should represent the two of you as a couple. Our desire is to create the wedding of your dreams, flawlessly, featuring personal touches that are unique to your love story!


We also believe that wedding and event planning is about more than spreadsheets and a beautiful design. I am here to be your friend and confidante through every step of the process. I strive to take every ounce of stress out of the planning process so that you, your fiancé and your families can enjoy this special time together. This is not just my job, this is my passion!
